The Civic Museum Parisi-Valle will host until the 1st May 2011 thirty-eight wax figures coming from the Wax Museum of Postumia in Gazoldo degli Ippoliti in the province of Mantova.
The life-sized wax figures trace a way that from the Resurgence lead to the contemporary days and are joined by fourteen works realized by contemporary artists.
The works are referred to a specific argument and they evocate history.
The exhibition opens with Napoleone Bonaparte's statue and goes on with the protagonists of the Resurgence.
Vittorio Emanuele III and Ivanoe Bonomi lead to the Mondial Wars and to the birth of the Republic.
There are also the popes' statues, from the postwar period until today, and the statues of the most important figures that have made the history of the Twentieth Century.
The last part of the exhibition is dedicated to contemporary history.
It's an opportunity to relive the most important historical facts and to find again feelings and passions.
